In this adventure, the Egyptian mysterious beauty could be completely experienced, as you are going to explore, the contrast between the Yellow and Green Egypt where you can discover the glory of the Ancient Egyptian Life interwoven with the beauty of nature, reversed in the Great Pyramids of Giza, the glory of Cairo, the temples and the Necropolis of Luxor then cruise the Nile and to explore its mysterious nature. Enjoying the river breeze. These boats had from three to nine cabins. Nebyet is one of the Titles of goddess Hathor that means the golden pearl. We have chosen this name, as our Dahabiya is the new golden lady of the Nile River.

Day 1: Cairo – Arrival

Arrival to Cairo airport, our representative will meet and assist you, transfer to hotel by A/C vehicle. Dinner and overnight will be at hotel.

Day 2: Cairo – Bahariya

Before we leave Cairo behind, we will proceed to Giza plateau, visit the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then, we will proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion’s body. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the complex of Chephren. Then, we will head to Al-Bahariya Oases (360 km). Upon reaching Bahariya, we will check-in our hotel, have our lunch, then we will start our tour in Bahariya. We will take a walk between the Fields and the Palm Trees, we will know about the daily life at the oases. Then we will proceed to the black Mountain (also known as the English Mountain), enjoy watching the sunset from the highest location in the oasis. There is a possibility to enjoy a bath in the hot spring. Dinner and stay overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Bahariya – White desert

In Bahariya, we will visit the nobles’ tombs in Qasr Selim (Tomb of Bennentiu and Zed-Amoun-Eyof-Ankh) which is dated back to the 26th Dynasty, Ain El-Bishmu (Roman Spring), the temple of Ain El-Muftillah and finally Alexander the Great’s Chapel. Then we will drive through the Black Desert and its volcanic remains. In the Dune area, we will climb a sand dune (about 60-meter height), have our picnic lunch in El-Haiz Oasis (San George Oasis). And we will proceed to the Crystal Mountain, Al-Agabat, which is the area of the wonders with the desert roses and finally we will arrive to the White Desert and its unusual limestone formations where the wind carved sculptors that resemble both human and animal faces. We will camp under the stars for natural tranquility and peace of mind.

Day 4: White Desert – Farafra – Dakhla

Enjoy your breakfast in the sunshine. Walk through the White Desert near the shaped rocks, with enough opportunities to linger and take photos. Afterwards we will drive to Farafra Oases (40km). Upon reaching Farafra, we will take a walk between the Fields and the Palm Trees, explore the unique system of agricultural irrigation in the oases, visit the village of Qasr El-Farafra and the museum of Badr *the local artist*, and then move on to Dakhla Oasis (300km). Before reaching Dakhla, we will visit the Roman temple Deir El-Haggar “Monastery of Stone” which was built by the Roman Emperor Nero and was dedicated to the Theban Triad Amun, Mut and Khonso. Later we will proceed to Al-Kaser (the old Covered City) with its Oil Press, School, Courthouse and Dwelling Chambers. Then we have lunch as a picnic. We will have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel in El-Kasr Village.

Day 5: Dakhla – Kharga

As we leave Dakhla behind, we head to Kharga Oasis (190km). We will visit Mut city (the capital of Dakhla Oasis), which was named after the ancient goddess of the Theban Triad. We then will proceed to the small village Balat, walk through the old city, and visit some houses and mosques, and finally we go to the famous Mastabas from the old Kingdom and the site of Archaeological Excavations of the hidden ancient village Ain Asil. Finally, we will have a lunch experience in a simple Egyptian house with the natives, proceed to Kharga, and visit El-Bagawat Cemetery and the Museum of Kharga. We will have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Kharga – Qasr Al-Labkha

We will follow the famous caravan route southwards and pass through the Paris Oasis.We will walk through the city, watching the special kind of arts (Hajj art), where the walls are decorated with drawings and descriptive paintings of the pilgrimage to Mecca. We then will proceed to Darb Al-Arbaien Road (Forty Days Caravans Road), driving to the Dush area which is a religious, military and civilian complex that primarily developed as the result of the caravans road between Egypt and Sudan crossing the desert to Assiut or Esna, we will visit the Dush temple which was dedicated to Serapis, Isis and Horpocrates. Back to Kharga Oases, and we will proceed to the old caravan routes heading to the unknown oases (Qasr El-Labkha). It contains ruins of roman fortresses, castles and temples scattered on a wide area. We will explore the oases with its water spring and ruins. We then will enjoy Camping under the stars.

Day 7: Kharga – El-Minya

We will drive to El-Minya through Assiut (about 4 hours). We will then proceed to the site of Beni Hassan (Eastern Bank of the Nile). There we will visit the unique rock-cut tombs with its scenes depicting local and regional life during the Middle Kingdom. Many of these have scenes of wrestling and military training. We will have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel in El-Minya.

Day 8: El-Minya / Sohag

Early start, we will drive to El-Minya, visit the necropolis of Tuna El-Gabal, which includes many important elements such as the crypts of baboons and Ibis that actually represent the god Thoth, the tomb of Isadora, the tomb of the priest Pet-osiers, the old water wheel and the boundary stele of the city of Aton. We will then proceed to Al-Ashmunien (the ancient city of Hermopolis), we will visit the open museum with the two colossal baboon statues and the ruins of the basilica church with its rose granite columns. We will proceed to Tell El-Amarna; the capital of Akhnaton. We will explore the city, the northern and the southern tombs, the ruins of the palace and temples and finally the royal tomb. We will then drive to Sohag, have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Sohag – Abydos – Dandara – Luxor 

We will proceed to Abydos city; it was the main cult center of the god Osiris, who is the god of the underworld. We will visit the temple of Seti the first, which is considered the most beautiful temple in Egypt. The temple was built by Seti I and finished by his son Ramses II after his father’s death. It contains the best-colored high reliefs in Egypt. It also has “Abydos King List” (showing the cartouche name of many dynastic pharaohs of Egypt from the first, Narmer or Menes, until Ramses himself). After lunch, we will drive to the complex of Dandara temple; visit Hathor Temple, who is the goddess of love, music and dancing. We will then explore the temple elements, the decorated ceiling with its beautiful colored astronomical drawings, the replica of the Egyptian Zodiac and the crypts. After this our visit will move on to Luxor.

Day 10: Luxor

We will start our adventure tour through the history in the early morning. We will drive to Luxor’s West Bank; visit the Necropolis of Thebes, Valley of the Kings (will visit 6 tombs), the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Valley of the queens, the Nobel tombs, the Colossi of Memnon and the Temple of Million Years. Later in the evening, we will explore the glory of Luxor temple. We will have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 11: Esna

We will visit Karnak Temple, and then transfer to Esna. Upon arrival, we will visit Chnum temple with its famous reliefs. We will then board the Boat, the crew welcomes you on board and have your bags taken into your cabins. We will then set sail on our voyage to Aswan. We will stay overnight close to El Hegz Island; a small island located in the north of Edfu.

Day 12: Edfu

Morning Sailing gently en-route to Edfu; we enjoy breakfast at your leisure; and visit Edfu Temple, one of the largest and most intact of Egypt’s monuments with two beautiful granite statues of the Falcon God Horus flank the entrance, by horse carriage. After our visit to the temple, we either ride or walk through the bazaar; this is an extensive bazaar where you can barter for souvenirs, spices and perfumes. We will then set sail for our private island “El-Fouza” where we will disembark for dinner served to you on the edge of the Nile.

Day 13: Relaxing Sailing Day

We start our nice day by sailing around 7 hours to El-Silsila Mountain. During our sailing we experience the simple lifestyle of farmers and fishermen. Contemplate the beautiful and mysterious nature of the great Nile and the green fields of Island Bissau. Continue to edge of El-Silsila Mountain where we will have our dinner and stay overnight on board next to the temple enjoying the romantic atmosphere.

Day 14: El-Silsila / Mainha

After breakfast, we visit the temple of Gebel El-Silsila, where we will discover the unknown rock-cut temple of Hormoheb and the famous sandstone quarries in ancient Egypt. We continue to Mainha Island enjoying our barbecue dinner with the drums and folk music around campfire.

Day 15: Kom Ombo

You’ll have breakfast at your leisure as we sail on to Kom Ombo. We will explore the extraordinary temple of Horus and Sobek. The temple was built with a whole symmetry, two entrances, two halls and two sanctuaries dedicated to the Falcon God Haroeris (Horus the Elder) and the Crocodile God Sobek. We then proceed to Daraw city, which is the most amazing and attractive part of this town with its unbelievable Camel Market in the south of Kom Ombo, we may also see more 20,000 camels brought to participate in the great selling show. After lunch, we sail from Daraw to Kobania; it takes around 5 hours. Lastly, we are going to enjoy our last night trip with our Nubian party.

Day 16: Aswan

We will sail to Aswan, exploring the famous city and visit the High Dam, crossing the original barrage over the First Cataract, we will also tour the pin Aswan granite quarry and examine the impressive Hatshepsut unfinished obelisk. The highlight event is when we take a motorboat ride to the romantic Temple of Philae, which was dedicated to the goddess Isis. In the afternoon, we will sail by felucca to the Botanical Gardens where Lord Kitchener indulged his passion for exotic flora, importing shrubs, trees and seeds from as far afield as India and Malaysia. It is pleasant to walk along the island’s shady paths, enjoying its fragrance and a variety of bird life before taking another felucca and sail back to Aswan. Transfer to the railway station to take the Sleeping Train back to Cairo. On the train, dinner is served in cabin or at the restaurant according to your choice.

Day 17: Cairo

This day, we will explore Cairo (City of a thousand minarets), we will visit the Egyptian museum; one of the most famous museums which contains the most magnificent collection of antiques including mummies, sarcophagi & fabulous treasures of TUTANKHAMUN’s tomb. Then we will proceed to Salah El Din Citadel and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali. Finally, we will drive to the famous bazaar of Khan el Khalily. 

Day 18: Departure

Transfer to Cairo airport for the final departure or follow-up program according to your booking.
